Pitso Mosimane gives Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates golden advice

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have just been given advice on how to win the CAF Champions League by the legendary Pitso Mosimane.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have just been given advice on how to win the CAF Champions League by the legendary Pitso Mosimane.

Mosimane spoke about his views on the PSL as well as what SA’s side’s need to do to win the CAF Champions League.

Mosimane won the CAFCL with Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns. Now, he is spreading his wisdom through his wise words to all aspiring SA teams – including Chiefs, Pirates, and Cape Town City.

MOSIMANE GIVES CHIEFS, PIRATES AND SA SIDES ADVICE

“Few tactical adjustments to be improved though if we want to win Caf Inter club trophies,” Mosimane stated on Goal.

He believes that the quality of football in the DStv Premiership has improved. However, their needs to be technical adjustments made if our SA teams are to taste silverware in CAF.

We have seen it all before – Sundowns go in as favourites, beat Al Ahly (twice) yet still fall short in the quarterfinals. Chiefs made it into the final only to be humbled 3-0 by Al Ahly and Pirates reached the final back in 2013 only to fall short at the final hurdle.

We have the talent but are missing something – technical changes are needed. I agree with Mosimane, if we can join our raw talent with a professional structure then our sides will be far more competitive on a continental scale.

Look at Al Ahly under Mosimane, they conquered Africa time and time again and there aren’t many excellent players. However, they were the most organised and structured side in Africa under Jingles.
