Orlando Pirates to send Marou out on loan?

According to reputable local publication Unplayable, Marou is likely to leave the club in January on loan!

In other news, Orlando Pirates are reportedly already preparing for life without Relebohile Mofokeng who’s traveled to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers for a trial.

“Orlando Pirates won’t block their players from heading overseas if the right opportunity arises, according to Mgosi Squad sources.” a Citizen report read.

“There are other young prospects in the DDC team waiting for their shot, so Rele’s departure would create space for another emerging player to impress the coaching staff.” an insider told the same publication.

“The league is the most important competition, it goes without saying,” Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by TimesLive.

“Thirty games, 15 away and home against everyone in every circumstance, hot and raining. So, it’s the most important competition and we really want to find our rhythm there.

“Now we have played our fourth competition in two months and a half. We are trying to keep the level in all competitions we play. It is difficult mentally to face these kinds of competitions in a very short space of time.”
