Another Pirates teammate praises Ratomo

Something special has happened at Orlando Pirates. Relebohile Ratomo has arrived to cause serious goosebumps.

Following the 18-year-old’s wonderful debut performance against Royal AM at the Orlando Stadium last season, Erasmus gave further insight on the Sharpville-born attacker.

“For me, he’s a special player. The things he does in training are mind-blowing, and he’s brave,” Erasmus told iDiskiTimes‘ veteran reporter Velile Mnyandu on page 14.

“He’s got a big heart, that I can say, regardless of his structure and for me, that’s important as a footballer

“I can speak from my experience, you know. I’m not the tallest player so there were a lot of challenges that I had to face with height othe as well.

“So the ability he has is amazing really and I think he’s come out of the right thing development structures, the School of Excellence that nurtured him into a special people talent,” the Pirates forward added.

“He’s got great ability and I just hope that he keeps his feet on the ground, he stays humble and he keeps working hard because he can achieve great things in his career.”

ZAKHELE LEPASA ADDS MORE PRAISE

Meanwhile and a couple of months later, Pirates’ Lepasa is also hugely impressed.

“How I wish it was possible for people to witness [Relebohile] Ratomo play football every day of the week,” Lepasa said as quoted by FARPost.

“It’s hard to put in words how good he is, he’s way ahead of his times. Way ahead.”
