Orlando Pirates’ future players are getting ready in time. The latest youngster that is coming up is Azola Matrose.

Matrose, aged 20, was bitterly unlucky to suffer an injury at the start of the season.
The speedy and powerful winger finally made a full comeback last weekend in the DStv Diski Challenge.
Speaking to iDiskiTimes, Matrose says playing in the reserve team is only a benefit.
“It doesn’t discourage me, and instead, it builds me up because I also need game-time,” said Matrose.

“As I’m here I’m not demotivated, I’m motivated because I’m playing with players who are willing to play, and I need this game-time so I can compete in the first team.”
In the meantime, Pirates have been back to training for the second round of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership.
