Orlando Pirates take the lead for Kaizer Chiefs target! – Report

If you are an Orlando Pirates fan this is good news. However, Kaizer Chiefs fans will not be pleased to have their arch-rivals take the lead for this transfer target.

Pirates have entered the race to sign Malawian winger, Lanjesi Nkhoma.

This is one of the player Amakhosi were reportedly interested in after he impressed them during last years COSAFA Cup.

PIRATES INTERESTED IN CHIEFS TARGET

Pirates are monitoring the promising speedster.

“First, it was Kaizer Chiefs who were interested in him and now another South African team, Orlando Pirates have inquired about him. He did very well during the COSAFA tournament here in South Africa and he has continued with that form even at home in Malawi and I think that’s what made Pirates look into him,” SoccerLaduma said.

Furthermore, he will be travelling to SA soon which opens the door to possible negotiations.

“It is not clear but he would be travelling to South African soon. I am not sure whether if it’s during the AFCON break or after but it seems it will be during the Malawi Super League break,” he added.

BUCS HAVE A DECENT CHANCE OF SECURING DEAL

Therefore, the Bucs have a decent chance of signing him and they have seemingly taken the lead over Amakhosi.

“I can’t say it’s a done deal yet but it’s 50/50 at the moment. Anything can happen because he is a good player and he is in demand right now,” he continued.
