REPORT: Orlando Pirates offer ‘accepted’ for Kaizer Chiefs new ‘signing’?

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly signed Ranga Chivaviro. However, it turns out that the red-hot striker actually accepted a deal from Orlando Pirates already.

Reports emerged claiming that Chivaviro has signed for Chiefs. However, he has apparently already signed a pre-contract with Richards Bay. Furthermore, the same report on KickOff claimed that Marumo Gallants have accepted a trade deal from Pirates.

Now, new reports coming from the same publication state that Marumo Gallants ‘agreed’ a swop deal with Pirates.

CHIEFS AIMING TO BOOST STRIKER DEPARTMENT

Amakhosi management have identified the striker department as the key area that needs reinforcing.

They want to be able to compete with Mamelodi Sundowns and Pirates who have players capable of notching up double-figures each season. This is the major difference between Amakhosi and The Brazilians and The Bucs who had far more successful seasons.

Sundowns won the PSL for a record sixth time in a row while Jose Riveiro and the Bucs secured the MTN8, Nedbank Cup and qualification for the CAF Champions League. In contrast, Amakhosi finished fifth in the PSL, failed to qualify for the CAFCL or CAF Confederation Cup and won no silverware – again.
