Orlando Pirates player to make way for Bafana Bafana signing?

Orlando Pirates are keen to sign this Bafana Bafana star. In fact, they could be releasing one of their stars to make way for him.

Mothwa’s contract is coming to an end at the end of this month (June).

They recently signed Melusi Buthelezi while Pirates keeper Siyabonga Mpontshane is likely leaving. Therefore, if the Mothwa deal is complete, Mpontshane will make way for him.

The Soweto giants want to emulate Sundowns by having three quality keepers available at any time.

BUCS FACE STIFF COMPETITION FROM PSL RIVALS

However,Pirates face stiff competition from Sekhukhune United who are also keeping tabs on the South African goalkeeper.

“Remember that Sekhukhune have released (Toaster) Nsabata and they are looking for a new keeper and Mothwa is seen as the template signing. Also, he has worked with coach (Brandon) Truter at AmaZulu before so they have been asking about his availability,” the insider added on the same publication.

Regardless, if reports are to be believed, the Bucs are heavily favoured to sign him.
