Under Nyatama’s tutelage, Swallows recorded three league wins on the trot during the month of May and qualified for the Top 8.
Swallows first beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 away from home before beating Royal AM 1-0 in Durban soon afterwards. They closed the campaign with a with a 2-0 win over Marumo Gallants at home.

And that meant Nyatama had a 100 percent win record during the month of May, and his record could not be overlooked by the judging panel.

Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed that THIS former Orlando Pirates man will be the new coach come next season.

Musa Nyatama will NOT be demoted but he will be handed the reigns as the Dube Birds boss following what was a ‘successful’ campaign.
Nyatama had been holding the fort on the interim since Ernst Middendorp’s sudden departure earlier this year, and this was his second stint as interim coach.

Swallows then roped in Morgan Mammila to work hand-in-hand with Nyatama in an effort to ensure that the club survives relegation.
And the pair achieved the mandate with distinction as they guided Swallows to a top eight finish; the position that looked unlikely just a few months ago.
