Maswanganyi scores stunner for Orlando Pirates in Spain! [Video]

Orlando Pirates got their Spanish pre-season camp underway this afternoon in Marbella.

The Buccaneers faced off with Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday evening.

Patrick Maswanganyi grabbed the opening goal for the Buccaneers in the 40th minute after finishing off a well worked move.

While it’s a friendly game, the goal will undoubtedly bode well for Maswanganyi who just joined the club from SuperSport United.

At the time of posting the Buccaneers lead 1-0 at the halftime break.

In other news, Former Orlando Pirates defender Ntsikelelo Nyauza has been released by Richards Bay FC.

The Veteran defender spent just one season at the club following his seven year spell at the Buccaneers.

Nyauza made 22 starts for the Natal Rich Boys, scoring one goal for the club.

He can now join any club after becoming a free agent.

“DStv Premiership side Richards Bay FC have decided to part ways with veteran defender Ntsikelelo Nyauza after one season at the club.” a KickOff report read.

“Richards Bay have since also terminated the services of Khetha Shabalala while deciding against renewing the contract of Ndiviwe Mdabuka.”
