Coach of DStv Premiership new boys Marumo Gallants, Sebastien Migne, has explained the sudden departure of his former assistant coach Jean-Francois Losciuto.

France’s Migne and Belgium’s Losciuto both arrived at the club at the beginning of the season and have a long history of working together.

Sebastien Migne revealed that Losciuto had become fed up with the poor organisation and logistical planning at the club which recently saw them travel with just 13 players for their debut CAF Confederation Cup clash in Equatorial Guinea.

“Unfortunately, he resigned two days ago so it is terrible for me because I needed his competence plus, he is a loyal guy,” Sebastien Migne said.

“He had personal reasons. With the kind of organisation that we had for the CAF fixture and since we have been here, it was too much for him, but I cannot give up.

“I’m obliged to show my players the way and to stay positive. For now, I will continue as the guide for my boys. I cannot abandon them and will stay with them. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some problems.

“There are some problems that we need to rectify in terms of the organisation in the team. It is a fact and not a secret. It is not easy for us, but we will try our best and I hope one day I will have my full squad available soon,” Sebastien Migne concluded.
