Kimvuidi heading stateside, spurning Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates?

According to a report on SoccerLaduma, talented 21-year-old Congolese star Karim Kimvuidi is wanted by MLS outfit DC United. DC are, of course, coached by the legendary Wayne Rooney. The R15 million price tag placed on his head by Maritzburg hasn’t deterred the United States Major League Soccer Team.

Why Karim?

21-year-old Maritzburg United star Karim Kimvuidi is one of the more flamboyant and entertaining playmakers in Mzansi at the moment. As just 21, he has his entire career ahead of him. Four assists in 29 league appearances last term wasn’t a sensational return, but he’s certainly got the quality to get fans out of their seats. Kimvuidi’s dribbling ability is a standout feature of his game, but his skills would be best utilized and showcased in the central number 10 role, rather than in wide attacking areas.
