Mammila: Chippa United v Sundowns match bigger than Soweto derby

Morgan Mammila strongly believes that Saturday’s match between Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns will be bigger than the Soweto derby.

Chippa United welcome Sundowns at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on the day with kick-off scheduled for 20:00.

Now, speaking on Power FM on Friday, Mammila said this e counts r between Chippa United and Sundowns will even be bigger than the Chiefs and Sundowns game.

Under Mammila’s tutelage, Chippa United have already picked up a point each against both Chiefs and Pirates.

Chippa United played to a goalless draw in their opening league match against Chiefs before drawing 1-1 at home against Pirates.

Previously, Mammila said it wasn’t as difficult to play against Sundowns, and how Chippa United perform on the night will be interesting to watch.
