In addition, Mokwena said no player has come forward to indicate they want to leave Sundowns, saying that all the players are happy.

Sundowns have a quality squad and enough depth to finish the season without signing anyone as they did their business at the start of the season.

Expectations were that Sundowns would sign an out-and-out striker since Peter Shalulile is injured and there are rumours that he could be sold abroad.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as Mokwena said if no one comes in, then they will continue to work with the squad at their disposal.

“In relation to transfers, nothing yet,” Mokwena told reporters.

“But no one has knocked on my door yet to say they want to leave. So, the players are happy to be here and we are happy to have them here.”

“And if that’s the status quo we continue to work and try to make sure that we are all happy at service for Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club because that’s what’s very important,” added Mokwena.
