Mamelodi Sundowns table offer for exciting Orlando Pirates PSL target!

Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly eyeing the signing of an Orlando Pirates transfer target ahead of the next transfer window.

Already Pirates and Sundowns are believed to be going toe-to-toe for the signing of Sekhukhune United winger Elias Mokwana.

Furthermore, Pirates and Sundowns are believed to both be interested in signing Congolese striker Andy Boyeli. While The Brazilians are believed to be leading for Mokwana’s signature, The Buccaneers look to be closing in on Boyeli. But ahead of the off-season transfer window, the two are expected to compete for more names in the market. The latest of those names being AmaZulu attacker Tshepang Moremi.

According to Soccer-Laduma Sundowns lead Pirates in the race for Moremi’s signing.

“As it stands now, Sundowns are in the lead. They have already tabled an offer for Moremi and you know most times when Sundowns have gone in front to sign a player they normally get him. It’s tough because Orlando Pirates are also interested in him so it will all depend on what AmaZulu are looking at. It could go to the highest bidder at the end of the day,” said one source.

A second states how Sundowns could gain the upper-hand over Pirates in the deal for Moremi.

“It seems Sifiso (Ngobeni) could be involved in the deal. You know he is on loan at AmaZulu and they would also need him next season should (Riaan) Hanamub move away as there is also interest in him. So, if it’s like that then it even puts Sundowns in an advantageous position. But as you know, in football you are only sure when the deal is done and dusted even if the offer is on the table like Sundowns have done now,” said the second source.

With Sundowns reportedly making the first move, it seems Pirates will have to act fast if they’re to sign Moremi.
