Last season’s ‘midfielder of the season’ has struggled for game-time this season, and a new update on his situation at the club has been provided by his agent Mike Makaab.

According to Makaab, Jali is open to moving to Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or any other local club for that matter but an overseas move is first priority!

Mamelodi Sundowns star set to leave club

“It’s highly unlikely (that he’ll ever play for Mamelodi Sundowns again). Andile has asked me to ensure that we respect his situation at Sundowns and that we finalise his exit from Sundowns prior to us engaging with any other football club.” Makaab said as quoted by FarPost.

“Of course, we will talk to teams that are interested, and those teams may include Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

“But it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be restricted to those two teams in South Africa.

“We’ll also be looking for teams for Andile abroad. In actual fact, we’ve already started the process.”
