Mamelodi Sundowns complete shock R5 million PSL signing?

Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly signed Marumo Gallants winger Lesiba Nku!

Nku was a standout performer for Gallants in their incredible CAF Confederations Cup run.

The 27-year-old scored five goals and assisted three more in all competitions for Gallants last season.

And now, reports suggest Mamelodi Sundowns have landed the winger who was previously linked with a move to Sekhukhune United!

Mamelodi Sundowns sign R5 million PSL winger?

“Lesiba Nku was at Sundowns today for his medicals. He is being sold to Mamelodi Sundowns for R5 million from Marumo Gallants.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“Initially, the agreement was that the player would be joining Sekhukhune United. Everything was agreed on as the player believed at the time that he would be a free agent only to learn that he was still under contract at Marumo.”

In other news, DR Congo star midfielder Fabrice Ngoma is open to joining Kaizer Chiefs ahead of next season.

The talented midfielder has previously been linked with a move to the Glamour Boys however his long-term contract at Al Hilal was a major stumbling block in the past.

Chiefs have been urged to sign top quality players in order to close the gap between them and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The good news however is that the 29-year-old DR Congo international is now a free agent!

“Sources suggest that Kaizer Chiefs have been alerted to Ngoma’s availability. And if they are still interested in his services, they have the opportunity to secure his signature.” a Citizen report read.

“The club will need to make a decision on whether to pursue the player or explore other options for their squad.

“A source close to the matter revealed that Ngoma is keen on joining Chiefs, considering them to be his preferred choice.”
