DISAPPOINTED: SUNDOWNS MAN SHALULILE GIVES HIMSELF 4/10

As The South African this weekend, the DStv Premiership champions sealed a breezy 4-0 win over lower-division dreamers Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup last 32 on Friday night in KwaMashu.

The league’s best striker, Shaluile chipped in with one of the goals with an 88th-minute header. Having started the game, it is honestly surprise that it took the Nambian 88 minutes to hit the ball in the back of the net.

“The first game will always be difficult, but with momentum we got into the game, got our touches and our patterns and we finally scored the goals,” said the 28-year-old hard-worker via Sundowns’ media.

“[With my goal] I just ran into the box late, a cross cane and I had to put it away,”

“I’ll give myself 4/10 for my first game, we still have to improve but with games coming we will definitely get on top but all credit goes to the technical team and the new guys that came in they really played a good game.”

“We went into the changing room and they said we should be patient with the ball, that’s what we did and that’s when all the goals came,” concluded the former Highlands Park man.
