Mamelodi Sundowns begin title defence with a win
Mamelodi Sundowns began their league title defence with a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.

Mamelodi Sundowns began their league title defence with a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.
Peter Shalulile opened the scoring from the penalty spot before new signing Lucas Ribeiro netted Sundowns’ second in the second half.
Sekhukhune United’s consolation goal was scored by Jamie Webber as Sundowns held on to the lead to eventually bag all the points.
