Kaizer Chiefs may have a tricky transfer window ahead of the new season after one of their reported targets in Fawaaz Basadien signed a new deal.

On Thursday, Stellenbosch FC announced that Basadien had signed a long-term contract with them.
Basadien was reported to be courted by Chiefs as a long-term replacement for S’fiso Hlanti at left-back position.

Now, Amakhosi may have to dig deep into their pockets if they are to land the signature of Basadien now that he’s committed to Stellies.
