Midfield maestro Lesedi Kapinga’s future at Orlando Pirates has come under scrutiny of late. Will he be leaving or will be staying?

Lesedi Kapinga joined Orlando Pirates at the beginning of the season following his struggles at rival club Mamelodi Sundowns.

Buccaneer fans were hoping to get the best out of the highly talented midfielder however, he’s struggled to make any impact in his first six months at the club.

In fact, Kapinga has made just four appearances for Jose Riveiro’s side. Despite his injury concerns and lack of game-time, an insider has provided a crucial update on Kapinga’s situation at the club!

“There is no truth in the talk that Lesedi Kapinga will be leaving Pirates and it’s just rumours.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“The boy is still in the plans at the club and is waiting for his opportunity to play. It’s just that he has been injured and that’s why he hasn’t seen much action.”
