Krol has been unemployed since 2020 after parting ways with Kuwait SC. The 74-year-old mentor has managed some of Africa’s top clubs in the past.

These include Zamalek, Esperance De Tunis and CS Sfaxien. As far as pedigree goes, AmaZulu will find it difficult to find someone close to Krol.

However, his age might put Usuthu top boss Sandile Zungu off considering the last coaching acquisition was a 32-year-old. (Romain Folz)
