Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana-Bafana defender Khuliso Mudau has again expressed his desire to move to Europe.

The 28-year-old was linked with a move to Belgium following his good showing at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Ivory Coast

Speaking to iDiski Times writer Velile Mnyandu, Mudau said he was unaware of teams from Europe that were interested in his services.

“On that one, I think if that opportunity comes, I would take it,” he said.

“But for now I can’t say anything, I don’t know anything. So, I’ll just wait, I’m like you, I don’t know anything.”

Mudau, who is currently nursing an injury, said he has improved so much at Sundowns because of his right mentality.

“You know that side [Sundowns], you need the right mentality, stay positive, and make sure that you want to learn. Because, if you can check, almost all the players there have improved, you need to learn a lot,” he said.

He played a huge role during Bafana Bafana’s 2023 Afcon campaign where they ended third in the tournament.

Towards the end of 2023, reports emerged that English Premier League side Burnley was interested in Mudau.

“That side, there are corrections, there are a lot of meetings, they want to see your values, and you want to show your coach that I have done my corrections.

“They will show you your training session and if they are not happy, they will come to you and tell you what you have to improve on. And you get to learn and improve on that,” Mudau added.

The Bafana right-back is out of action with high-end Grade 3 and is expected to return end of March.
