Khama Billiat: Potential club reserves jersey No.12 for attacker

Billiat, 33, is close to sealing a return to Zimbabwe after spending over a decade plying his trade in the Premier League Soccer (PSL).

Khama Billiat‘s potential club Dynamos has reportedly reserved jersey No.12 for the former Kaizer Chiefs attacker.

This despite the two parties still ironing out differences regarding the player’s signing-on fee after agreeing on everything else.

Billiat was reportedly supposed to have flown to Zimbabwe on Wednesday to link up with his new teammates at Dynamos.

However, that was delayed as the 33-year-old wants everything in black and white before leaving South Africa for his native country.

KHAMA BILLIAT TO WEAR JERSEY NO.12 AT DYNAMOS?

“He (Billiat) will not travel before the parties iron out the structure of his sign-on fees,” reports The Herald.

“His salary and other add-ons have already been agreed and Billiat has since requested that the Number 12 jersey be reserved for him.

WHICH JERSEY NUMBERS DID BILLIAT WEAR BEFORE?

Billiat wore the No.11 jersey throughout his three years with Ajax Cape Town before switching to jersey No.20 and alternating it with the No.33 shirt at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Between the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, Billiat alternated jersey number 33 and 26 until he left Sundowns to later join Chiefs.

At Chiefs, Billiat was handed the No.11 jersey which he wore for five seasons before dumping them in June 2023.
