The agent of Katlego Otladisa, Nimrod Mbhalati has poured cold water on rife speculation that the Marumo Gallants winger could be set for a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Last month, a rumour emerged that Chiefs had enquired about Otladisa ahead of the current January Transfer window.
Otladisa adding fuel to the fire
Otladisa would then go and fuel that transfer talk on Monday as he took to his social media to post a few pictures of himself in a game where Gallants were playing against none other than Chiefs. Understandably such a post would send social media and fans of Amakhosi into overdrive, as out of all the fixtures that he has played in, why would he pick pictures from that particular match, in a period where he knowns full well that he has been linked with Chiefs?

Otladisa would then caption those pictures saying “ Wizard time soon can’t wait”. Which admittedly could just be him speaking about football returning soon this month in the form of the DStv Compact Cup and him hoping he would be drafted in. Even with that said, however, the argument remains that he could’ve used more than just pictures of the Marumo Gallants fixture against Chiefs.
Chiefs fans convinced
Chiefs fans on social media seemed to think that Otladisa was hinting at or even announcing a move to the club. Speaking to iDiskiTimes The speedy players agent Mbhalati has since moved quickly to curtail any talk of a January transfer window move, but did, however, admit that there has been an offer from a big three club for the players services.
Agent reveals the players situation and offers
“It is evident that the boy (Otladisa) is doing well and there are few teams that have shown interest even though I can’t mention names, There are the offers, even from the big three, but I’m not in a position to say which team it is from the big three, so if you didn’t hear it from me, take it as a rumour.” Mbhalati said
Mbhalati would then all but rule out a move to Chiefs during this current window for Otladisa.
January move ruled out?
“What I want now, is for him to enjoy his football for now. I mean the poor boy has been out of the system now, so let’s give him space to enjoy his football without all these distractions.Anyway whoever wants his service must contact Marumo Gallants at least at the end of the season, maybe something can be done.But for now, I would like him to focus more on playing to assist his team, to get more assists and goals and maybe a national team call up, then we [are] fine.” Mbhalati concluded.

Will Chiefs still be interested in Otladisa by the end of the season? Or will they try and force the arm of Gallants during this window?
