Chiefs fan-favourite for surprise departure?

Nothing remains the same in this game. New reports say Kaizer Chiefs could be releasing a fan-favourite central defender.

Thousands of Kaizer Chiefs fans will not enjoy these news. Reports say that Amakhosi are likely to part ways with Njabulo Ngcobo.

NJABULO NGCOBO TO LEAVE KAIZER CHIEFS?

Despite only making 15 appearances last season, and just nine this term, most fans of the Glamour Boys in social media and the streets will tell you they love Ngcobo.

Additionally, coach Arthur Zwane has also appeared to favour the former Uthongathi and Swallows star by fondly calling him “Mapholoba,” in interviews.

However, reports by Soccer Laduma, as shared by @RealTshemedi via Twitter, the club is eager to search for new central defenders after the Director of Football Kaizer Motaung Jnr makes a decision on the 28-year-old Ngcobo.

The report added to say that the club feels Ngcobo has not upgraded his football at Naturena, including his seemingly laid-back style of play.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi remain linked with TS Galaxy’s Given Msimango, while Thatayaone Ditlhokwe will arrive in July after he signed a pre-contract with Chiefs from SuperSport United.
