20-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ibraheem Jabaar, who has been excelling for Stellenbosch FC in an all-action midfield role, has been strongly linked with a switch to the Glamour Boys. His age profile certainly fits the Kaizer Chiefs rebuild model way more than 33-year-old Jali.

Jabaar’s profile fits Kaizer Chiefs’ needs
Jabaar is a deep-lying, dynamic, ball-winning midfielder who can operate either as a 6 or preferably as a more mobile box-to-box player, such is his athleticism and ability to carry the ball upfield. He’s quick and possesses an impressively inventive passing range, which he uses to feed teammates between the lines. He also has the intelligence to get into those spaces himself to receive passes, and has the technical quality to recycle the ball crisply and quickly. In Ibraheem Jabaar, they’d be signing a player with massive potential to become a a complete midfield player at an elite level.
