Kaizer Chiefs set to unveil THREE new star PSL signings?

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to unveil THREE new signings following the close of their 2021/22 campaign.

The Glamour Boys will have everyone’s attention this morning at 10:00 after they called for an ‘important’ press conference at Naturena.

It remains to be seen whether they’ll be using this morning to unveil their new signings however reports suggest, at least three stars are indeed on their way to the club!

Further reports suggest the Glamour Boys could be using this morning to confirm the departures of a number of ‘surplus to requirements’ players.

Nonetheless, the ‘major’ revamp at Naturena is scheduled to get underway in the coming days. Arthur Zwane’s side are expected to unveil at least THREE new signings.

Kaizer Chiefs are set to unveil star PSL defender Zitha Kwinika as well as the somewhat forgotten midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe according to reports!

Kwinika joined the Glamour Boys from Stellenbosch after a stunning campaign which saw him earn their Player of the Season award.

Sithebe on the other hand has been frozen out since January by AmaZulu, due to his looming move to Kaizer Chiefs!

The Glamour Boys have also made a major breakthrough in their pursuit of Stellenbosch stat Ashley Du Preez.

Accord to reports, Kaizer Chiefs have agreed a deal in principle to sign Du Preez from Stellenbosch and the only outstanding thing is personal terms with the player!

Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker all but confirmed that Zitha Kwinika will be joining Kaizer Chiefs.

“I’d like to wish Zitha well. He’s going back to his boyhood club where he’s developed,” Barker said as quoted by IDiskiTimes.

“Zitha will go back to Kaizer Chiefs, he deserves everything of the best. We wish him well, but be aware that we’re coming for you next season.”

While the transfer fee remains undisclosed, according to Transfermark the 28-year-old defender is valued at approximately R12 million.

Considering the fact that Kwinika’s the captain and arguably one of the most important Stellenbosch player, it’s hard to believe they’d let their star join Kaizer Chiefs for a ‘bargain’!
