Three Kaizer Chiefs players to leave as a result of new signings?

Two new defenders are coming to Kaizer Chiefs – Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Given Msimango. However, this could mean these three men are leaving Naturena.

There is plenty of excitement around the arrivals of Ditlhokwe and Msimango. Both signings were previously confirmed on The South African.

However, what goes up must come down and that is the scenario for Amakhosi’s squad. More specifically, their defenders.

THREE CHIEFS STARS FACE LIKELY EXIT

Erick Mathoho, Austin Dube and Njabulo Ngcobo are all facing likely EXITS.

All three men have fallen out of favour with Arthur Zwane since he was made head coach.

Now, the addition of two new defenders could spell the beginning of the end of their Amakhosi careers.

In fact, Mathoho has already been told that he will be leaving at the end of the season.

Furthermore, Dube and Ngcobo already sit behind the likes of Zitha Kwinika, Siyabonga Ngezana and even Edmilson Dove.

Therefore, they are now almost certain to not play again with Amakhosi management focused on their new signings. After all, they weren’t signed to warm up the bench. Now all three men face possible, and very likely, departures from Naturena at the end of the season.

NEW SIGNINGS NOT GUARENTEED STARTS

Kwinika and Ngezana have established a solid partnership at the back.

So, Ditlhokwe and Msimango will have to fight for their place in the starting team.
