Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga wanted by Yanga?

Yanga have registered their interest in taking Ranga Chivaviro on loan from Kaizer Chiefs. Will he make a move in January?

Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro is reportedly a major target for Tanzanian side Young Africans, also known as Yanga S.C.

Chivaviro to escape his Naturena struggles?

Yanga SC was keen on signing Chivaviro after his stellar season at Marumo Gallants before the Glamour Boys swooped in for the prolific South African. The 30-year-old hit double figures in the league last term, but has struggled to replicate that form in 2023-24. Tanzanian giants Yanga are looking to back in for Chivaviro to bolster their attack amid an ongoing CAF Champions League campaign.

KAIZER CHIEFS NOT READ TO LET RANGA GO?

Chivaviro recently opened his account for the club with a strike against Cape Town Spurs but overall it’s been a tough campaign for the burly forward. His agent, Herve Tra Bi, has responded to talk of his client making a loan switch to the Dar es Salaam outfit. 

“Ranga is not going anywhere for now. He has a two-year contract with Kaizer Chiefs. We need to respect his contract with Chiefs,” Tra Bi told FARPost

CHIEFS FACE POLOKWANE NEXT

The Glamour Boys travel to Polokwane City this Saturday looking to build upon the three points they picked up last time out against Swallows at Donsonville. New analyst Yu-sha Said could be on board and officially unveiled by then.
