Kaizer Chiefs chairman sends mixed messages

The Glamour Boys are looking far and wide for a new permanent manager following the departure of Molefi Ntseki. So far, however, their search has been in vain. Club chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung has confirmed in an interview on SportsLIVE that they have not yet succeeded in their search.

“Any coach that comes in needs to be given time,” he remarked. “You cannot bring a coach and expect results immediately and think you’ll win the league in the next season.”

“A few names have been identified, but there are no coaches available at the moment,” he added. “We have put a process in place for us to deal with the new coach we want to bring in.

“The process is underway, and he will be unveiled at the right time. Any coach that we bring must have pre-season training. It’s sad, but everything has got its own time.”
