Kaizer Chiefs FC are closely monitoring an exciting winger from Ethiopia ahead of the PSL’s January transfer window!

Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to beef their squad up in the upcoming January transfer window.
Arthur Zwane’s side suffered a rather sluggish start to the season however they have picked up some momentum as the halfway mark approaches.

Chiefs sit in fourth position on the DStv Premiership log standings, a whole seven points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sundowns have played a game less than the Amakhosi and could easily stretch that lead to 10 points.
Adding to the pressure is the fact that rivals Orlando Pirates have already bagged a trophy after winning the MTN8 title last weekend.
Kaizer Chiefs monitoring Ethiopian star
According to the latest reports, Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring a player deep in Africa.
23-year-old Ethiopian attacker Amanuel Gebremichael is being closely monitored by the Amakhosi scouting network according to SoccerLaduma.
Gebremichael, a speedy right winger who plays for Ethiopian side Saint George, already has 33 senior caps for his country.
Saint George currently sit top of the Ethiopian Premiership and Gebremichael has five goals in his last nine matches.
If he does secure a move to Kaizer Chiefs, he’ll be the second exciting Ethiopian player to make the move down south.
His compatriot Abubeker Nassir joined Mamelodi Sundowns at the beginning of the season.

The DStv Premiership goes on a two-month long Fifa World Cup break but when will Kaizer Chiefs be in action again?
The Amakhosi closed the first half of the season out on a high note after defeating arch rivals Orlando Pirates last weekend.
While this break may disrupt Arthur Zwane’s surge up the DStv Premiership log standings, there are still two fixtures to look forward to before the DStv Premiership returns!
Kaizer Chiefs were selected, by fans, to participate in the upcoming Carling Black Label Cup which takes place on 12 November 2022.

Chiefs face rivals Orlando Pirates in their semi-final while Mamelodi Sundowns face AmaZulu in the other semi at the FNB Stadium.
There’s also either a potential final or third place playoff looming for all four teams.
