Carling Black Label Cup: When will the starting XI’s be announced?

The 2022 Carling Black Label Cup is upon us, and the voting for the starting line-ups officially closed on Sunday, 6 November.

The 2022 Carling Black Label Cup is upon us, and the voting for the starting line-ups officially closed on Sunday, 6 November.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu will ALL battle it out in the new format on Saturday 12 November at FNB Stadium.

AmaZulu and Sundowns will get the ball rolling in the first semi-final at 9:30 while Chiefs and Pirates will battle it out at 12:00.

The final between the two semi-final winners will be played at 17:00 but before then, there will be a penalty shootout for teams that couldn’t reached the final.

WHEN WILL THE CARLING BLACK LABEL CUP STARTING LINE-UPS BE ANNOUNCED?

According to the organisers, the official starting line-ups for this year’s Carling Black Label Cup will be announced on Monday, 7 November.

As previously reported by The South African website, there have been a number of withdrawals from the teams due to injuries.

Sundowns wil be without Peter Shalulile and Abubaker Nasir while Chiefs will be without Itumeleng Khune and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.

AmaZulu will have to face Sundowns without Bonginkosi Ntuli while the Pirates duo of Thembinkosi Lorch and Nkosinathi Sibisi are likely to miss the event.
