However, there could be an exception should Chiefs return to continental football as this has been the case with the No.15 jersey.

Zuke passed it on to Tshifhiwa Mmbooi, and the hard-tackling defender wore it for two seasons between 2009 and 2011.

Lehlohonolo Majoro was then recruited from AmaZulu in 2011, and he was handed the No.20 jersey by the Chiefs bosses.

Majoro left Amakhosi in 2014 with Siphelele Mthembu joining from Platinum Stars and inheriting the No.20 jersey.

Mthembu would leave Chiefs in 2017, and the club decided to hand the No.20 jersey to new signing at the time, Teenage Hadebe.

Hadebe then left Chiefs for Turkey in 2019, and in came Yagan Sasman who used the No.20 jersey until his departure to Swallows FC at the start of the current season.
