Mamelodi Sundowns will chase that elusive MTN 8 title when they face Cape Town City at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday 30 October.

Here we look at how Mamelodi Sundowns could line up in the MTN 8 final against Cape Town City.

Starting in goal we expect to see Denis Onyango although Sundowns could spring a surprise here and cover their penalty shootout bases by picking Kennedy Mweene to don the gloves.

In central defence, Mosa Lebusa is now fully fit and expected to play this massive cup final while he is likely to be partnered by either Rushine de Reuck or Grant Kekana.

We expect to see Lyle Lakay and Khulisa Mudau patrolling the flanks in their respective fullback roles.

Rivaldo Coetzee and Andile Jali have shown the value of experience in the middle of the park this season enjoying a resurgence in a squad where competition for places is fierce.

Thabiso Kutumela could be set for another change of role with Themba Zwane fit to return to the left wing, we expect Kutumela to tuck in behind Peter Shalulile, with Gaston Sirino likely to make a nuisance of himself down the right.
