Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly willing to extend Keagan Dolly’s contract at the club however it’ll come at a ‘price’ for the player.

Dolly joined the Amakhosi in 2021 after parting ways with French club Montpellier. The diminutive midfielder is yet to make the massive impact he was expected to make at Naturena.

Apart from his ongoing injury woes, when fit Dolly simply hasn’t produced any fireworks for Kaizer Chiefs.

In 64 appearances he’s managed to score just 14 goals while assisting 11 more.

According to the latest reports, Dolly will have to take a pay-cut if he wishes to extend his contract at Naturena!

According to local publication SoccerLaduma, Keagan Dolly could be forced to take a pay-cut in order to remain at Naturena beyond the end of the season.

We have enough quality – Johnson

“Look I think we have enough quality in the team, I just think they have not been given enough opportunities as individuals and I think the way we assess them, or the way we analyse them as part of the Chiefs family,” Johnson told iDiskiTimes

“I think that needs to be a little better between myself and my coaching staff. Because then we can give them more, they can be more positive towards themselves.

“If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player. I think we need to get in their skin right now and there are good players.”
