Mmh, reports say Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome a new center forward for assessment. With coach Arthur Zwane confirming the news.

“This time around we did our homework and look back as to how we brought the players and the way we want to play, the way we want to play even in future because the game is evolving we do not only think about now we trying by all means to make sure right now that when we bring the player, we bring the player that will come in and add value so we scrutinize everything, we go deeper and deeper,” Zwane told SABC Sport‘s hugely-respected reporter Velile Mnyandu.

REPORTS: KAIZER CHIEFS TO WELCOME NEW STRIKER BALINT BAJNER ON TRIAL

As The South African website reported on Wednesday, Balint Bajner arrived in Mzansi to have his chance to impress the Chiefs technical team.

It will now be up to the Hungarian to convince Amakhosi to table a contract ahead of the DStv Premiership return on 31 December.

WHO IS HE?

Bajner is a 31-year-old center forward. He last played for Pécsi MFC in his homeland in 2020.

His previous clubs include Borussia Dortmund’s reserve side as well as West Ham’s B team. 

According to Transfermarkt, Bajner, who has also played in places like Belgium and Italy, has 25 goals and eight assists in 169 career games.
