African giants submit offer for Chiefs star

A Kaizer Chiefs striker may be ready to move away from Naturena. There is interest from a leading African Champions League club.

KAIZER CHIEFS STRIKER TO MOVE TO WYDAD CASABLANCA?

After an okayish season for Amakhosi with eight goals in 25 games, the 25-year-old Burundian striker is linked with Wydad Casablanca.

According to Lorenz Kohler, the Moroccan giants have submitted an offer, ahead of a handful of other local and international clubs.

“Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana looks set to leave the club with Wydad Atheltic Club the latest to open talks for the striker,” the report said on iDiski Times.

iDiski Times sources understand Bimenyimana has expressed his interest in joining the club but with interest from Europe and potentially remaining in South Africa, the next few days or hours are crucial to determine where his future lies for the 2023/24 season,” the report added.

THABANI AUSTIN DUBE LEAVES AMAKHOSI

In other news, Thabani Austin Dube is no longer a Glamour Boy.

After making just one appearance for Amakhosi last season, the 30-year-old Dube has been let go.

The report was announced by the club on on Thursday morning.

Austin Dube has left Kaizer Chiefs after reaching an agreement with the Club to facilitate his exit,” the report said.

“The 30-year-old defender signed for Amakhosi from Richards Bay in July 2021. We wish him all the best!

So who else has left the Glamour Boys?

Dube becomes the fourth footballer out of the Naturena gate. Others included Erick Mathoho, Phathutshedzo Nange, Siyabonga Ngezana, and Cole Alexandra.
