NEW AMAKHOSI STAR GIVEN ADVICE

In other updates, the Gulubane-born Ditlhokwe has been given some special advice from the legendary Thulani ‘Tyson’ Hlatshwayo.

Having played with the new Chiefs star at Matsatantsa this season, Hlatshwayo has something to say to Ditlhokwe.

“I told him [Thatoyaone Ditlhokwe] that he reminds me of my partnership with Buhle Mkhwanazi at Bidvest Wits,” Hlatshwayo said via FARPost.

“When you look at that partnership, it was the core of the team, from defence, midfielders until the strikers.

“So he also has resemblance of me when I was still a youngster. I was also shy and not wanting to talk to the media, just doing his job quietly.

“He’s strong boy, he is the captain of Botswana. I’m not saying he should stay at SuperSport but he needs to be the legend of Botswana.

“When I first heard of his move to Chiefs, I told him to give SuperSport his all in these last games because they brought him to the country.

“I told him that there’s lot of things that are gonna come his away because I’ve been there and done that.

“So for him is just to stay humble. They’ll want you to change their fortunes and keep cleansheets,” the former Orlando Pirates defender concluded.
