Kaizer Chiefs have released Caleb Bimenyimana to open a new foreign spot. Are Amakhosi ready to announce this Colombian striker?

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of Caleb Bimenyimana, and it seems there is more to the story.

While the Glamour Boys have been hotly linked with a certain Jasond Gonzalez from Colombia, the club had five registered foreign players.

With Bimenyimana gone, Amakhosi are expected to announce Gonzalez as his direct replacement.

According to the South American reporter, Jaime Vega, the 24-year-old striker is coming to Amakhosi.

Vega added that Gonzalez will join the Soweto giants on loan from Real Santa Cruz in Bolivia, where he scored eight goals in 19 games.

BOBBY MOTAUNG CONFIRMATION

Meanwhile, the club’s Football Manager, Bobby Motuang told the media Amakhosi are in search of a striker.

“I don’t have names at the moment. Kaizer Jr. deals with the names, I deal with the team, the whole team, the football environment,” Motuang told SuperSport TV on Saturday.

“But no Gabadinho Mhango but we are trying to beef up our striking force. We’ve got two, three injuries in the striking department,so we’re trying to beef up that department.

“Not Gabadinho Mhango, but Kaizer Jr. will announce, soon.”

For now, Molefi Ntseki’s side is focused on the visit to Mpumalanga to face TS Galaxy on Sunday, 20 August at 15:00.
