Kaizer Chiefs: Baxter’s most-used player is 22 years old, any guesses?

So the general impression is that Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter is not a young player enthusiast. Here is something to make you think twice.

Kaizer Chiefs’ most-used player is a 22-year-old star. He has played more minutes than any other player this season.

According to Transfermarkt, no player has played more minutes than the beloved Njabulo Blom from Dobsonville, Soweto. Known as ‘Stopper,” the versatile player has been Baxter’s most reliable man.

While Keagan Dolly edges Blom on appearances with 23 games played compared to Blom’s 22, the youngster has spent more time on the green grass.

Blom has played 2.003 minutes. 

The players who follow closely are Dolly with 1.858 minutes, Daniel Cardoso with 1.795, and Khama Billiat with 1.723 minutes this season.

CHIEFS MAKE APPROACH FOR CAPE TOWN SPURS TEENAGER

In other updates, Chiefs could have a new central defender next season and he’s still only 19 years old. His name is Rushwin Dortley, he’s from a famed academy (Ajax) and has physical power.
