Following the game, popular SABC Sport commentator and former Chiefs player Siphiwe Mkhonza had some praise to share.

Mkhonza went over to Twitter to sound like an actual praise singer/poet on Maart.

The passionate praise included the mention of a rather fitting nickname for Maart: ‘Maarrinator’ from the world marinate, which refers to the softening or flavouring of meat before cooking.

If you think about it, Maart essentially marinates opposition midfielders and defenders. Mkhonza’s praise added to compare Maart to the one who provides impempho (an indigenous African plant that, once dried, is burnt in order to communicate with one’s ancestors).
