Nowhere to hide: Pirates increase pressure on Chiefs

It’s not a great day for Kaizer Chiefs fans. Orlando Pirates have announced two quality players with proven PSL experience.

Wow. Kaizer Chiefs are feeling hot pressure right now as Orlando Pirates continue to mean serious business.

We thought Pirates could not go any harder in the market this season, until Thursday’s double signing announcement. We can imagine Bobby Motaung and Kaizer Jnr gritting their teeth at Naturena in a meeting on Friday.

Why do we say all of these things, you ask? Well, we know what fierce rivalry means in football and in Soweto.

PRESSURE ON KAIZER CHIEFS

Meanwhile, Amakhosi, currently rebuilding a new squad, have to respond. Thursday’s Pirates news has obviously left Amakhosi fans agitated, to say the least.

At the moment, the Glamour Boys are linked with Golden Arrows’ Pule Mmodi but fans need a lot more than mere links with just one player.

Additionally, Chiefs have welcomed two new trialists to Naturena, namely Balint Bajner and Bradley Cross. Is this good enough? Not really.

The more days pass without a new signing announcement, the higher the pressure and fan unrest. Chiefs need to respond pronto and with at least new two players.
