KAIZER CHIEFS LOSE TO TS GALAXY

Following a 2-1 win over Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarterfinals last weekend, Amakhosi’s league clash with the Rockets resulted in a lacklustre 1-0 loss at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday, where goalkeeper Brandon Petersen conceded an own goal on 49 minutes.

The result left Amakhosi in 12th position with two defeats and one draw.

MOLEFI NTSEKI ON WHAT’S GOING RIGHT

Chatting to the media after the game, Ntseki revealed that the mood and the attitude inside the club are ideal.

“We have brought some quality players and the mood in the camp is good. It’s just unfortunate that [we lost because] we’re expecting to get good results out of this,” he said to SuperSport TV, as quoted by iDiski Times.

“But I think in terms of the attitude in the camp it’s very good, the players are looking forward to a good season because we are having a very good mood in the camp.

The former Bafana Bafana coach concluded by suggesting Amakhosi will sure can better in time.

“Tactically, we are still working on our different formations in terms of the players coming on from the bench, those coming on from the stand, but I think today [Sunday] it leaves us with a very huge assignment in terms of how we prepare going forward,” Ntseki concluded.
