Former Chiefs coach returns to Mzansi

A Kaizer Chiefs and DStv Premiership coaching legend is back in the country. He is known as Ernst Middendorp.

The DStv Premiership is not too easy to forget. Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp can easily attest to that.

Following his short spell in Germany as the Sporting Director and Coach at SV Meppen, Middendorp has returned to Gauteng since leaving Moroka Swallows in March.

The German, who is revered for his 20-year experience and knowledge on the local game, was spotted at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night during Chiefs vs AmaZulu.

GOODBYE SV MEPPEN

Middendorp is also a free agent after furiously resigning from Meppen last week.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen which team will be approaching the “German Sheppard” for his services.
