KAIZER CHIEFS TO SIGN FORMER MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STAR KELETSO MAKGALWA

According to iDiskiTimes’ leading reporter, Sinethemba Makonco, Amakhosi and Upington City have agreed on terms.

“Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City have agreed terms with Kaizer Chiefs for Keletso Makgalwa’s move but he will only join Amakhosi at the beginning of the 2024/25 season,” the report said.

What is the meaning of agreed terms?

In case you’re not sure, agreeing on terms involves three to four numbers:

The price to buy the player (if he still has a contract with the selling club), the salary, the length of the contract and the signing-on fee to the player (eg. R250 000).

The next step will be the arrival of the contract in Makgalwa’s hands for him to sign.

The 27-year-old winger was released by Maritzburg United, Swallows FC, and TS Galaxy respectively, before returning to Upington City.

City was where Makgalwa restored some respect to his name with six goals in eight games.
