Kaizer Chiefs could be without Edmilson Dove, Siyethemba Sithebe and Ashley Du Preez ahead of the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates on Saturday

The trio were ruled out of action in Chiefs’ last match against Cape Town Spurs.

Amakhosi did a double over their rivals last season and would look to keep their league winning streak against Pirates alive.

Last month, the club announced that Edmilson Dove was training with the squad after a groin injury.

“Obviously, it wasn’t how I wanted the season to start for me,” Dove told the club media last month.

“It is difficult, as a player, not to be on the field doing what we love, but I just had to deal with it in a positive way and try to focus on my recovery.

“I’m happy now that it’s a thing of the past and I am back with the gents,” he said.

Du Preez could be available for the Soweto Derby this weekend acording to various reports.

The 26-year-old striker has scored three goals so far this season for Kaizer Chiefs and could be key on Saturday against Pirates should he be fit and ready to play.
