Kaizer Chiefs apparently have a new playing style, according to Cape Town City’s Eric Tinkler.

Following Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Amakhosi, which as the fifth win in seven games against the Glamour Boys, Tinkler revealed how his side managed to tame Molefi Ntseki’s side.

According to the former Orlando Pirates coach, Amakhosi are a counter-attacking side.

“As City, we watched them in recent games. We obviously assessed our game against them in the MTN8 and how they hurt us,” the City boss said via FARPost.

“We are a pressing team. That’s what we always do We press teams. And we’re not afraid to go at teams.

“From our analysis was how did they hurt us? They hurt us on the counter. What is their biggest weapon? The speed that they possess,” Tinkler added.
