Kaizer Chiefs to lose THOUSANDS of Rands over Polokwane incident!

Kaizer Chiefs will be back before the PSL Disciplinary Committee over their fans’ behaviour at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.

Kaizer Chiefs will be back before the PSL Disciplinary Committee over their fans’ behaviour at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.

On the night, a section of disgruntled Amakhosi fans pelted Molefi Ntseki with bottles after the final whistle of their 1-0 loss to SuperSport United.

This was the second time that Chiefs fans had a go at Ntseki, demanding his immediate resignation. The first incident happened in Mbombela in August.

At the time, the league’s Disciplinary Committee found Chiefs guilty, fined them R100 000 and ordered them to pay the cost of the seating.

R30 000 was suspended on condition that the same incident doesn’t happen within the next 24 months, while the R70 000 had to be paid immediately.

Chiefs were further ordered to issue a public apology to the league and its stakeholders, and they duly obliged on 5 September.

However, it hasn’t even been a month since the PSL DC ruling, and already, Chiefs fans are back to their old tricks of pelting bottles at their coach.

KAIZER CHIEFS TO PAY R30 000 AND COULD BE CHARGED AGAIN

Now, Chiefs will have to pay the suspended amount of R30 000 to the league for what happened in Polokwane and could face a new charge from the PSL DC.

The league, through prosecutor Advocate Zola Majavu, is yet to release a statement in regard to the misconduct of those Chiefs fans.

But it may not be long before Chiefs are hauled before the PSL DC to answer for themselves over this incident, which led to Bobby Motaung calming the supporters down.
