Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo has become the latest victim of a malicious cyber hack carried out by virtual criminals!

Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo has fallen pray to a malicious cyber scam.

Arguably one of the country’s most iconic football figures, 16V has been targeted by an online hacking syndicate.

Doctor Khumalo has since warned the public against entertaining any social media messages received from ‘his’ accounts.

Criminals are sending affiliate links from Doctor Khumalo’s personal accounts which puts the receiver at risk of being hacked themselves if they open the links.

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs is set to make his official debut for the club next month.

Fleurs joined the Glamour Boys at the beginning of the season as a free agent after parting ways with SuperSport United.

The 23-year-old centre-back made 70 appearances for Matsatsantsa before leaving the club at the end of last season.

And now, coach Cavin Johnson has confirmed the talented defender is in line to earn his debut for the club!

β€œLuke is very close as far as that is concerned. Yes, he came in probably three quarters to the season as a free agent, and you know he had to work very hard to get himself a club,” Johnson told Sowetan.

β€œAnd he got Chiefs as his next destination, and when he started at the village, he had to work very hard. But since we closed in December for those few weeks, he has come back looking a lot fresher. And now that we started training, Luke is looking very sharp.”

The publication further claimed Fleurs will likely make his debut for the club when the DStv Premiership resumes following the ongoing AFCON break.

Chiefs are due to face TS Galaxy on 13 February at the FNB Stadium.
