Kaizer Chiefs: TWO players to earn contract extensions

Kaizer Chiefs management are set to offer two big-name stars contract extensions. An Amakhosi legend and PSL veteran will be staying longer at Naturena.

Amakhosi captain Itumeleng Khune and PSL veteran S’fiso Hlanti are likely to have their contracts extended, according to iDiskiTimes.

Therefore, Khune and Hlanti are set to remain at Naturena for a couple more seasons.

CHIEFS TO EXTEND KHUNE AND HLANTI’S CONTRACTS

Khune and Hlanti’s contracts expire in June.

However, both men are poised to earn contract extensions.

Khune is club captain and a senior member of this side, as is Hlanti.

Furthermore, Hlanti is a regular starter for Arthur Zwane this season.

Meaning, he is a key part of Zwane’s plans for the future. As is, Khune but he is struggling for gametime.

KHUNE TO START IN THE FUTURE?

Khune’s contract extension does not guarantee him playing time.

This is because Brandon Petersonis currently the first choice goalkeeper at Naturena.

Therefore, Khune is going to have to work hard to earn his starting berth back.
